Rider Fitness Program

We're dedicated to helping riders achieve peak performance both in and out of the saddle. With a unique blend of expertise in equestrian and gymnastics coaching, we provide riders with a personalized conditioning program to meet their needs.

Why Gymnastics and Pilates?

The ABC’S- Agility, Balance, Coordination and Speed are the four skills that underpin physical expression. Training in foundational gymnastics and pilates plays an important role in the development of:

  • FUNdamental Movement Patterns

  • Gross motor skills (e.g. running, jumping, climbing, rolling, twisting, kicking, throwing, catching)

  • Motor qualities of agility, balance and coordination

  • Physical qualities such as strength and flexibility

  • Cognitive development stages in laterality, patterning, directionality, proprioception, space and body awareness

 

Add some foundational pilates movements unmounted and mounted, and notice improvement in your seat, body position and balance across all gaits!
